DCTypes

The DCTypes vocabulary provides extensions to the Dublin Core encoding schemes to support the Zelestra Core Framework. They are as follows:

Agent

Specifies that a creator element or a mediator element contains an agent identifier referencing an agent.

BSK

http://zlst.org/dctypes#BSK

Specifies that a subject element contains a browse subject key.

Caption

http://zlst.org/dctypes#Caption

Specifies that a description element contains localized caption text formatted as TextMarkupType.

Category

http://zlst.org/dctypes#Category

Specifies that a type element contains a catagory as defined in the Zelestra Core Framework DefinitionElementType.

ENCdl

http://zlst.org/dctypes#ENCdl

Specifies that a subject element contains an Eisenhower National Clearinghouse digital library classification.

Guide

http://zlst.org/dctypes#Guide

Specifies that a relation element contains a URI reference to a resource that is a guide to this resource.

Image

http://zlst.org/dctypes#Image

Specifies that a description element contains a URI reference to a representational image of this resource. Images must be formatted as JPG, PNG, or GIF.

MD5

Specifies that an accessRights element contains an MD5 digest of a user password.

NSK

Specifies that an alternative element contains a natural sort key.

OaiId

http://zlst.org/dctypes#OaiId

Specifies that an identifier element element contains an Open Archives Initiative identifier.

OaiSetSpec

Specifies that an isPartOf element contains an Open Archives Initiative set specifier.

PermittedUse

Specifies that a rights element contains an indication of permitted usage of this resource formatted as PermittedUseType.

RunTime

Specifies that an extent element contains a running time. Format is minutes min seconds sec. Example: 0 min 23 sec.

Specifies that a mediator element contains a URI reference to a WSDL document of available services.

TimeZone

Specifies that a temporal element contains a time zone identifier.

User

Specifies that a creator element contains a user identifier referencing a user.

VirtualSpace

Specifies that a coverage element contains a virtual space identifier referencing a virtual space.

WxH

Specifies that an extent element contains a width, height, and optional unit. Format is width x height [unit]. Usually unit is included, with the most common unit being "pixels". Example: 100 x 200 pixels.
